About: Founder and Publisher of eInvestigator.com

Michael Kissiah, eInvestigator.com

Hello, I’m the founder, author, and primary publisher behind eInvestigator.com.

For over 25 years, I have been deeply immersed in the world of private investigation, not just as a practitioner but as a dedicated researcher, author, and publisher. My mission for this website has always been to provide a comprehensive, reliable, and practical resource for professionals in the field, students of the trade, and anyone seeking to understand the industry.

Our Origin: From Fieldwork to Foundational Resource

My journey in this industry began in 1994, when I became a licensed private investigator in the state of Florida. I gained valuable, hands-on experience as the co-owner of Spectrum Investigations, a private investigation agency.

In 1998, I launched eInvestigator.com as a way to promote our agency’s services. In the process, I discovered a passion for the research and writing involved in building the site. I also recognized a significant gap in the market: the internet had very few reliable, professional-grade resources for investigators.

After a few years, we closed the agency’s field operations, but my work with eInvestigator.com was just beginning. I decided to continue the website as a full-time research and publishing venture.

25+ Years of Dedicated Expertise

My 25+ years of experience in the communications field provided the perfect foundation for this new mission. I dedicated myself to building the most extensive online library of articles, guides, and resources for the profession.

For over two decades, I have personally researched and written more than 1,000 articles on this site. This work encompasses a comprehensive range of topics, including state-by-state licensing requirements, legal research, law enforcement procedures, and the ethical use of investigative technology.

Published Author & Recognized Authority

This long-term dedication to research and publishing culminated in my book, The Private Investigator’s Licensing Handbook, which has been a trusted guide on Amazon since 2018.

My Credentials & Experience

  • Founder & Publisher, eInvestigator.com (1998–Present): Served as the chief editor, publisher, and researcher for one of the web’s longest-running and most comprehensive resources for the investigative industry.
  • Author, “The Private Investigator’s Licensing Handbook”: Published author of a key industry guide, available on Amazon.
  • Communications Professional: Over 25 years of professional experience in communications, research, and digital publishing.
  • Field Experience: Formerly a Private Investigator in Florida and co-owner of Spectrum Investigations.
