What does a Private Eye need to know?
Private Investigators may need to interact with the American Bar Association in the course of an investigation. For example, a private eye may need to investigate the background of a particular lawyer or law student who is, or was, a member of the organization.
In general, the association is a great resource for learning about the law and legal matters. Larger investigative agencies may have investigators on staff that are also attorneys and lawyers. In that situation, it would be helpful for the agency to become a member of the organization to take advantage of its resources. This will also help speed the process of obtaining information when needed.
